Hi everyone! Let’s go Shoot the Hooch! 😊 Feel free to bring or borrow a river tube, kayak, paddle board, etc. so we can all float down together!
This is intended to be an Atlanta West Coast Swing community-building social event. Please note that we'll be on the river ~3-4 hours. Then we can all continue the party at ASDC that evening!
🕘 Meeting time: 9AM - while the rentals open at 10AM, it will take the entire hour to pump tubes and paddle boards; this time also makes parking a breeze; We’ll aim to be on the water before/by 10AM. If you are running really late, we cannot wait for you, so please do your best to get there on time.
📍 Location: Chattahoochee River (Meet at Starting Point - some select people will meet at the end and sort out a carpool to get to the start)
Start Point: Chattahoochee River NRA Powers Island (5450 Interstate N Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328)
End Point: Paces Mill Boat Ramp (3444 Cobb Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA 30339)

⚠️ If you need to borrow a tube or life jacket, ask the group first! Many of us own our own tubes, life jackets, paddleboards, kayaks. equipment, and pumps. Also river tubes are maybe $20 at the store so it’s a good investment!
‼️Please bring a life jacket! You do not have to wear it, but you must bring one with you. If you rent equipment, the company will provide one to you‼️
